Tip the author (English)
What basqar.net is. A free Kazakh-language news and video aggregator: the website, a mobile app, and a twice-daily video news digest on YouTube. One independent developer builds and runs it. There are no paid plans, no paywall and no ads.
What a tip is. An optional, one-time payment of an amount you choose, as thanks to the author for the site and the digest. It buys no goods and unlocks nothing. Everything stays free whether you tip or not. A tip is not a charitable donation and is not tax-deductible.
Where the money goes. Tips are paid through Stripe to the author's own account and are the author's income. They cover hosting and development time. The money is not passed on to the channels or publishers whose content the site links to, and the site does not collect money on behalf of anyone else.
